Installation and Setup:
The Respondus installation program can be downloaded from the Respondus website.
Navigate to their course in a regular browser and then click "Launch LockDown Browser" after accessing the test.
First, navigate to the quiz in the course using a normal browser. Once the quiz page has been accessed, initiate Respondus and then begin the quiz.
Contact your instructor directly.
You need to manually go into the course, navigate to where the assessment is, and access it from there.
If you are already accessing the assessment directly from the assessment page, temporarily disable your antivirus software and let the page completely load before clicking the start button for the assessment.
This is usually the result of an older version of LockDown Browser or older versions of Internet Explorer/Edge software.
When you encounter this VM warning message, it indicates you are either using a virtual machine, or your computer has been set up to mimic the signature of a virtual machine. In either case, LockDown Browser’s virtual machine detection will not permit you to proceed. We cannot provide you with specifics on how to resolve this problem on your computer. You will need to use a different computer for your exams requiring LockDown Browser.
If you get directed to https://moodle.regiscollege.edu when going through Respondus and you cannot see your courses/exams from https://myonline.regiscollege.edu, restart the application and select "Online Programs Moodle" when going into the Respondus.
Once the above steps have been completed, try starting the test again (if multiple attempts are permitted) and reach out to your instructor to notify them of the issue/to have the attempt cleared.

The same username and password they created in the beginning should match their Moodle login and Regis email username and information. This username must be entered in all lower case. Mobile devices tend to capitalize the first character.
If students need help navigating or registering for classes, they should be in touch with their Student Support Advisor.
This is a Single Sign-On (SSO) LMS meaning, students who are signed into their Regis portal (i.e. SPIKE, their email, or Regis Hub, etc.), do not need to log in again to Moodle (it's an automatic login).
If a user is not logged into one of the Regis services mentioned above, they will use the same login credentials they use for all other Regis applications. They will not need to create new log in credentials for their online Moodle platform.
