If you are registered for a course but do not see it in Canvas, please reach out to your Support Coach.
At Bradley University, online students will be automatically registered for classes each term. In order for the student’s registration to be complete for a term, the student must confirm enrollment by taking action referred to as “claiming classes”. This can be done in several ways:
If one of the above processes is not completed, the student’s classes, for that specific term, will be dropped. The student will be notified via their Bradley email account that classes have been dropped.
You will be directed to submit your request to drop a course(s) via MyOnline (MyOnline.bradley.edu). We encourage you to visit with your Support Coach, Academic Advisor and the team in Financial Services regarding the academic and financial implications of adjusting your Program of Study prior to submitting the drop request. The drop process provides a step-by-step set of instructions to guide you right through the process and can be found at MyOnline under the Class/Grades tab or under Forms-Drop Course Request Form.
Review your course syllabus to access your required course materials and information on how to purchase. You can also visit our bookstore website: https://bradley.bncollege.com/
Holds may be placed on your account for a variety of reasons. Registration holds will prevent a student from registering for future terms. A grade hold will prevent a student from viewing grades, receiving transcripts, and receiving a diploma. The Distance Education office places unmet health, preceptor, and project registration holds. Unmet health holds are placed if you have outstanding or overdue health requirements, as well as when signature requirements are not completed. Preceptor holds are placed if there is outstanding paperwork due for a clinical/internship course. Project holds are placed for a student going into the first DNP project course. For questions about these holds, please email budistanceeducation@fsmail.bradley.edu.
A PAQ registration hold is placed when a student is required to complete the Plagiarism Awareness Quiz. The quiz can be completed at www.bradley.edu/sites/plagiarism.
An Admissions (ADM) hold may be placed if a student has outstanding application materials, such as a transcript or updated nursing license, due. For questions, please contact Admissions at 309-677-1000.
Student Financial Services will place a registration and/or grade hold on a student’s account if that account is past due. The hold will not be removed until the student’s account balance is current. You can access your bill by going to MyOnline.bradley.edu. More details can be found here: https://www.bradley.edu/offices/student/sfs/charges-payment/viewing-payment/
Students without holds are automatically registered for the upcoming semester. Registration happens in batches. If you do not have a hold on your account and you believe you should be registered, please contact Distance Education at budistanceeducation@fsmail.bradley.edu. If you do have a hold on your account, you will need to take the proper steps to have that hold removed before you can be registered for courses.
